After Your Surgery
After discharge it is very important that you follow your home care instructions. Call your doctor with any questions or go to the nearest emergency room for any life-threatening concerns. Due to the effects of anesthesia, you should not drive a car, operate machinery, make important decisions, sign any legal documents, or drink any alcoholic beverages until the day after your surgery. Be sure to schedule a follow up, postoperative appointment with your physician.
A nurse from the Waterford Surgical Center will call you the day after your surgery to see how you are feeling and to address any questions or concerns. We want to make sure that your recovery progresses well and that you are completely satisfied with our services.
