Waterford Surgical Center

The Waterford Surgical Center (WSC) was developed by local physicians in partnership with St. Joseph Mercy-Oakland, to create a state-of-the-art surgical center.

• Lower costs. Our state association (MASA) published the following, “Medicare and its beneficiaries pay an average 54% more for a procedure performed in a hospital outpatient department that they would pay for the same procedure if performed in a Michigan ASC.”
